Token Structure Abstract

MapleStory Universe revolves around three key tokens: (1) NFTs, (2) NXPC, and (3) NESO.

NFTs

NFTs are extensive digital assets, such as game items and characters accumulated by MapleStory IP over the past two decades, tokenized by using blockchain technology. As these NFTs can be broadly utilized across various apps, including MapleStory N, and the blockchain ecosystem, they will realize a level of interoperability and scalability that was previously hardly imaginable in the previous single game environment. As a result, this will expand RX to a much broader scope, beyond merely limiting it to game clients. In addition, each NFT maintains rarity as they have a predefined supply cap.

NXPC

NXPC is the collective essence of these limited NFTs and the driving force that powers the ecosystem of contributors. The token operates through two mechanisms called "NXPC Fission" and "Item Fusion", maintaining a direct connection to the NFTs. Through NXPC Fission, players can redeem NXPC for collections of NFTs, while Item Fusion allows players to exchange these collections back into NXPC. This structure organically adjusts the circulating supply of NFTs based on ecosystem demand, enabling stable management of rarity, a core element of RX. Additionally, NXPC is periodically distributed to contributors who enhance NFT utility, with rewards based on their measured impact.

NESO

NESO is a game token convertible to NXPC within MapleStory Universe at a clearly disclosed conversion rate. NESO tokens can be used in various apps within the Universe, as well as in the MapleStory Universe marketplace. Contributors may place NESO within their apps, and players will be able to earn this NESO through app interaction. For example, in MapleStory N, players can earn NESO through gameplay such as hunting monsters and raiding bosses. NESO serves not only as a reward for players but also as an important motivation for contributors. Contributors can implement In-App-Purchase business models within their applications to monetize their content, such as item enhancement feature in MapleStory N.

In summary, NFT, NXPC and NESO are essential pillars to ensure the sustainability of MapleStory Universe. Each plays a unique role and interacts closely with the others to create synergies for the growth of the Universe.
