MapleStory's core appeal stems from its RX, which is the sense of achievement and satisfaction players gain from obtaining items. Two key factors drive RX: utility and rarity.

Utility indicates how versatile an item is across different situations, while rarity represents how limited or scarce an item is. By refining RX, MapleStory Universe aims to provide profound and memorable experiences that resonate deeply with players.

To achieve this vision, MapleStory Universe leverages blockchain technology to enable interactions among community-created applications based on MapleStory's intellectual property (IP). MapleStory items will be created as NFTs, making them functional across various apps and blockchain ecosystems. This approach significantly expands the scope of use for items that were previously limited to the game itself, thereby maximizing their utility.

The rarity of each NFT will be ensured through a predefined supply cap. NXPC will facilitate the creation and distribution of these limited NFTs through a two-way exchange system.
