Required items for the basket and their quantities are calculated based on the predefined distribution of NFT supply (the “planned distribution”).
NFTs that have been recorded in the Item Pool compose the basket, regardless of their current availability in the Item Pool.
When new items are introduced to the Item Pool, these items will be included in the basket.
Weight represents the ratio of individual NFT supply to the total maximum NFT supply (e.g., If there are 100 'A' NFTs out of the total maximum supply of 1,000 NFTs, the weight applied to 'A' NFT is 10%).
Quote reflects the required amount of an item, calculated using the NFT's weight.
Total quotet represents the sum of all individual item quotes required for the basket, at time t.
When new items are introduced to the Item Pool, they are included in the basket, which increases the Total quotet.
Total Exchangeable NXPCt represents the total amount of NXPC exchanged for the basket at time t.
The amount of NXPC exchangeable with Total quotet is calculated using the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet, which determines the exchange rate between NFTs and NXPC. This calculated amount becomes the Total Exchangeable NXPCₜ for the relevant Item Fusion round. Once the basket is fully sourced and reward calculations are finalized, each user receives a portion of the Total Exchangeable NXPCₜ based on their Participation Rate. (For additional information on Participation Rate, please refer to Section Participation Rate)
For example, if the total number of NFTs required for the basket at time t (Total quotet) is 1,000 and the current NFT/NXPC Exchange Rateₜ is 10, then the Total Exchangeable NXPCₜ would be 100 (1,000 NFTs ÷ NFT/NXPC Exchange Rateₜ 10 = 100).
In the formula for Total Exchangeable NXPCt, the denominator (NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet) increases when new items are introduced to the Item Pool, as explained in Section NFT/NXPC Exchange Rate. While Total quotet also increases with new items, the proportional increase in the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet exceeds the proportional increase in Total quotet ,causing the Total Exchangeable NXPCt to decrease when new items are introduced to the Item Pool.
This occurs because the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet reflects the maximum supply of new items (e.g., 1,000), while Total quotet only reflects a fixed percentage of this maximum supply (e.g., 1% of 1,000 = 10).
For example, consider a scenario where Number of NFTs in Item Poolt is 1,000 and Total Supply of NXPCt is 100 at time t, resulting in the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet of 10 (1,000 ÷ 100). If the Total quotet for the basket is 1,000, the Total Exchangeable NXPCt would be 100.
Now, assume we introduce a new item with a maximum supply of 100 into the Item Pool. The Number of NFTs in Item Poolt would increase to 1,100, changing the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet to 11 (1,100 ÷ 100). If the basket requires 1% of the item's maximum supply, the quote for this new item would be 1.
The Total quotet would increase to 1,001 from 1,000, while the NFT/NXPC Exchange Ratet is now 11, resulting in the Total Exchangeable NXPCt of 91 (1,001 ÷ 11).
Therefore, the Total Exchangeable NXPCt decreases when new items are introduced to the Item Pool.
